Published adjudication logic
A machine decides. A person can be asked.
Work is accepted against checks that were written into the contract before anyone started. Here is what those checks are, what each outcome does to the money, and how to have a person look at any of it — free, and without the money moving while they do.
- 8 of 11 acceptance methods in use
- 34 named checks
What happens to delivered work
The contract's checks run against what was handed over. Three outcomes are possible, and only one of them moves money.
The three outcomes
Every acceptance ends in exactly one of these. Nothing else is reachable.
Accept
- Reached when
- Every check that was required by the sealed contract passed.
- Money
- The agreed amount moves to the person who did the work.
- Who can ask for a person
- The buyer who paid
Reject with evidence
- Reached when
- At least one required check failed, and the failure was observed rather than inferred.
- Money
- Nothing is charged. The held amount returns to the buyer once the work has run out of attempts.
- Who can ask for a person
- The person who did the work
Inconclusive
- Reached when
- A required check could not be run at all — our instrument failed, not the work.
- Money
- Nothing moves and nothing is held against anyone. The check is run again, and a person is asked to look if it fails again.
- Who can ask for a person

How the checking is done
Different shapes of work are judged in different ways, and the contract says which before you agree to it. Each method below lists the checks that belong to it, in the words the contract uses.
Deterministic probeIn use24
Authorities bind
We check every citation in the document against the document's own list of authorities, so nothing is cited that was never listed. Whether the authority actually supports the point is the practitioner's call, and they sign for it
Authority currency
We check that every law or rule cited says when it was current, and that none of them is older than the date you asked for
Axe scan delta
We check the page for accessibility problems ourselves, as it was and as it is now, and show you what changed — these are automated findings, not a legal opinion
Citations resolve
We open every address the report cites, one by one, and check each one still answers — and where the report puts words in quotation marks, we read them back off the source to see they are really there
Consent dismissable
We open the page ourselves and look — no one's word is taken for it
Console clean
We open the page ourselves and look — no one's word is taken for it
Deadline within days
We measure what was handed over against what was agreed
Deliverable format is
We measure what was handed over against what was agreed
Design spec conformance
We open the delivered images ourselves, shrink them to every size you said you would use them at, and measure what still reads at each one — this checks the drawing survives the sizes, never whether you like it
Document completeness
We check the delivered document covers every section of the outline you gave — measured against your outline, never a template we decided on
Element absent
We open the page ourselves and look — no one's word is taken for it
Element exists
We open the page ourselves and look — no one's word is taken for it
Filing receipt present
We check the delivery carries the filing confirmation from the office you named. We never tell you it will be granted — nobody can
No site challenge
We open the page ourselves and look — no one's word is taken for it
Outline has
We open the page ourselves and look — no one's word is taken for it
Provenance screen
We measure what was handed over against what was agreed
Quantity at least
We measure what was handed over against what was agreed
Report structure
We read the delivered report and count what you asked for: the sections you named, in the order you named them, and a body inside the length you agreed
Requests clean
We open the page ourselves and look — no one's word is taken for it
Task completes
We open the page ourselves and look — no one's word is taken for it
Text absent
We open the page ourselves and look — no one's word is taken for it
Text present
We open the page ourselves and look — no one's word is taken for it
Url reaches
We open the page ourselves and look — no one's word is taken for it
Viewport pass
We open the page ourselves and look — no one's word is taken for it
Sealed sandbox rerunIn use1
Sandbox run passes
We run the delivered work ourselves in a locked-down box and watch how it finishes
Driven sessionIn use1
Interactive session passes
We click, type, and play through it ourselves, the way you would
Recompute reconciliationIn use1
Recompute reconciliation
We work out every total on the report ourselves, from your own source files, and they have to match — the delivered number is never taken at its word
Per item batchIn use1
Catalog rows reconcile
We check every item on its own against your own master file — each one must be there, complete, and matching, so a failing item never hides inside the batch
Reference pack conformanceIn use2
Content compliance
The delivered work is screened for age rating and copyright risk, with the exact moments that triggered each call
Matches reference
We compare it against the reference material you gave us
Experiment reproductionIn use3
Experiment reproduces
We run the delivered work ourselves, twice, and work out every number the report gives — each one has to come out the same as ours, inside the tolerance you agreed. What the author says their own result was is never the evidence for it
Gpu serve probe
We load the model on the agreed setup and measure it ourselves on held-back examples
Strategy backtest replay
We rerun the strategy ourselves over the pinned history and measure it again on a stretch it was never shown
Human review tierIn use1
Semantic pass
A reading is made of whether it says what was agreed, and a person stands behind that reading

These shapes exist in the contract vocabulary, but nothing here judges them yet. A contract that asks for one is refused rather than quietly judged some other way.
If you disagree
No person decides whether the checks passed. That is exactly why you can ask for one.
- You have 14 days from the decision to ask.
- A person looks at every case within one business day, and both sides hear the answer.
- Asking is free for both sides and stays free.
- If you disagree with what the person decides, you may appeal that once, within 7 days.
You bought the work
If the checks passed and you do not think the work is what you paid for, say so on the receipt. The charge is contested from that moment.
You did the work
If the checks refused your delivery, appeal it from your copy of the same receipt. It is the same document, with the same evidence, on both sides.
The money while you waitWhile a dispute is open, the job's money is frozen where it sits: an undrawn escrow hold stays held, and a drawn payout is not cashable until the case resolves.
