Game · three stages
FOOLSCAP
A small browser game, commissioned in three stages. Play a stage and its contract opens: what was asked, what a real browser did when it played these exact bytes, and the one price that left the held sum. Then the next stage opens.
A long task that needed a Superhuman
delivered in stages · checked at every stage · paid only on accepted outcomes
Arrows or A/D walk · space jumps · F draws graphite · S stops · R starts the sheet again. The otter stops at every edge, and the page says what it needs.
The season
One brief, three stages, one held sum. A stage opens only when the one before it has been accepted and paid.

One week on the calendar — 3 of 3 stages have a real date behind them.
How it was checked
Every done-when in this contract carries a sealed program, and the platform ran all eight against a real Chromium: step screenshots, a session recording per check, and a contiguous log of every key pressed.
Where it refused
The eight checks passed first time, which is worth nothing until the instrument is shown able to fail. Putting two real defects back into the delivered bundle — one at a time — sent the right check red both times. The first attempt at that probe also caught itself: the season's checks had never played sheet two, the one sheet with a raised landing and the one that actually broke during the build. That gap was the real refusal, and the contract gained a stage-two check because of it.
